Hand-building Class, Intermediate, Saturdays, 1-3 pm, 4 weeks

This is an intermediate level hand building class. No refunds or changes 48 hours before class starts. Please be advised that only class generated work is  included in bisque/ glaze firing. Class reinforces basic hand-building techniques and builds on this knowledge. Working knowledge of slab rolling, pinching and coiling required. You will still learn to make functional objects, like vases, mugs, trays, platters, all without a potter's wheel, but will work on a larger scale than in the beginning hand-building. You will make 1-2 larger projects in this four week class. Small, intimate class, enrollment is limited to five students, so you can get instructor's full attention. Please note, this is not a sculpting class, see photos in description to get an idea of what's going to be taught. Clay, tools and firing are included. Very small classes, limited to five students to ensure individual attention. Type of clay is the instructor's choice. This class is taught upstairs in the art studio. Entrance is from the street side, up the stairs.
