Introduction to Watercolor - A Meditative Journey, Adults

Find your creative flow with this meditative exploration into the world of watercolor; ideal for adult students looking for a gentle yet insightful introduction to a unique and beautiful medium. More delicate than oil or acrylic, watercolor helps you to slow down and stay present with its beautiful swirling pools of color. You'll learn all of theessential skills required to use watercolor with confidence while enjoying the process in a supportive small class environment.

If this is your first time picking up a brush, and you’d like to learn all of the fundamental aspects of developing a painting from concept to completion, we recommend joining ourIntroduction to Painting course. If you already have some painting experience or you’re just starting out and eager to engage your creativity with meditative yet skill focused exercises, this is the place for you!

Each class investigates a different skill or technique which is essential to working with watercolor. This is a journey of exploration where you’ll be encouraged to engage your own creative voice and reflect on what inspires you. You’ll be set up for success to take watercolor in a direction which best serves you and your creative practice.

There will not be an opportunity to make up for a missed class.
